Today was my 8 week check up. I can not believe how the time has flown by since getting my BFP. This was my first experience with a dildo cam. It was not as bad as I have heard. Seeing the little bean on the screen, you kind of forget about the camera up your yoohoo.

We were able to see the flicker of the heartbeat and heard the heartbeat. It is beating strong at 140bpm! There was only one bean and one sac. My husband thought for sure we were having twins. Of course he tried to collect by saying we are going to have twins. "Irish Twins". Boy if that wasn't a reach if I ever heard one. I think he is jealous because he lost.

Shock of my life! I had a feeling I was late so I bought a test and POAS. Sure enough it came back pregnant. I kept looking for the NOT but it never showed up. I then broke the news to my DH who was very excited. Me, not so much. Don't get me wrong I am happy to have another little one, I just did not expect to be pregnant so soon after delivering my DS.



The next morning I POAS again to make sure I was not seeing things. Again the same result pregnant without a not.



I start to think about how my body is going to handle it and if it is strong enough to endure another pregnancy. I am sure everything will be fine, I have a tendency to worry. It runs in the family after all.
