Santa

On December 20th we took Bugs to see Santa. Craig thought he was going to freak out when he saw him. I admit I was a bit nervous as well. We got to the mall and saw a huge line. So we did a little shopping and the line was soon down to nothing. I decided to wait in line bugs and daddy joined me soon after. I was telling Bugs all weekend that Santa says Ho Ho Ho. I got a laugh out of him every time I did that. I guess I look the part. I even have the belly that shakes like a bowl full of jelly. We finally got to the front of the line and Daddy was all set to take Bug's picture with Santa. Then lets see if I can put this nicely the elf told us we can not take our own personal photos. I was like your kidding right. The nice elf said no that is what keeps Santa coming back. I thought huh I thought Santa was all about the kids. Anyhow I shell out the money for the photos hoping that we will get a good one. Bugs did really well he did not cry or fuss at all. Hopefully his little sister will be the same way next year.

24 Week Check Up

We had our 24 week check up on the 16th of December. We heard the heartbeat nice and clear and everything is measuring right on schedule. I did ask the Dr. if we can keep the April 1st due date and she said no. Sorry honey! She is concerned that if I go into labor an hour a way the drive and the ride would not be pleasant. So what does this mean? We are looking at a March baby! It is not the Sapphire stone that I wanted for my mother's ring but at least it is blue. Maybe in a year or two I will get the Sapphire.

Christmas Program

I can not believe it is already time for Bob's Christmas program. It seems that we were just celebrating Thanksgiving not that long ago. As I look at the calendar I am also reminded that it is only 10 days until Christmas. Where does the time go? I am hoping to video tape bob's performance. Depending on where we are sitting and how well bugs will sit through the program. Hopefully the 7:00 p.m. time will not cause him to be fussy.
